Today we received a call about a theft attempt of a Ford F150. arrived to the location to find out the thieves were so close to stealing the truck and if it did not have the transceiver (ignition antenna/ anti-theft) on it then they would of succeeded. so i decided to explain further why when buying a car you should definitely look for one that comes with a chipped key. most newer cars 2003+ are equipped with this technology. and the reason car companies brought this technology is to make it a lot more difficult to steal cars. attached are pictures of the damage they've caused.
